Development and ARCHITECTURE
We promote mixed use and mixed income environments that are emergent and healthy and introduce complexity: design that contributes to the development of the whole community and its ongoing transformation. This approach to design identifies and synthesizes a community’s needs and desires, and supports the growth of neighborhoods, businesses, and institutions.
These projects explore, in different environments, the relationship between human development and design. The projects pictured below were designed by Douglas Balder, AIA.
